Is this a medical program?
No. Avidon provides education and lifestyle coaching, not medical diagnosis or treatment. We encourage you to share your lab results and discuss your participation in the program with your healthcare provider.
Why should I complete the blood draw and biomarker testing?
Our functional health blood test kit is the perfect place to start if you want to gain an understanding of your health. Up to 30 blood tests are measured relating to essential health areas that can often be improved with simple lifestyle changes including heart health, kidney health, liver health, iron status, diabetes risk, thyroid health and nutritional health. Whether you want to establish your health baseline or find out if you are at risk of common lifestyle related conditions including high cholesterol, vitamin deficiencies or diabetes, you are empowered to take action to help improve your general health, energy levels and prevent future illness.
When can I expect my results?
Once you register as a Functional Health member, your at-home collection kit will be ordered and typically arrives within 5–7 business days at your designated location. After you complete the test and mail in your sample, results are generally available within 3–7 business days.
Important: Please carefully read all instructions and watch the collection kit instructional video before completing your test. You will need to fast on the day of collection and complete the test only on designated days to ensure proper sample delivery and accurate laboratory testing.
How do I access my results?
Your labs are processed through a national laboratory partner and securely stored on a HIPAA-compliant platform. You’ll receive your own login credentials to access your results directly through the lab portal. Your report presents each biomarker in an easy-to-understand visual format, showing how your results compare to optimal ranges and providing clear insight across all markers measured. Your results may also be shared with your certified health coach to help guide personalized recommendations and support your coaching experience.
Will my doctor see my results?
Only if you choose to share them. Many members use their results to have more informed conversations with their providers. It is recommended that you share your results with your medical providers.
How often is blood testing included, and can I test more frequently?
Blood testing is included once per year at the start of each annual membership cycle to establish a clear baseline and track long-term progress. Members may choose to purchase additional blood tests at a discounted rate as often as they wish. If you opt for more frequent testing, a 6-month follow-up is typically sufficient to see meaningful changes.
Who are the health coaches?
Avidon Functional Health coaches are certified health coaches trained in behavior change, habit formation, and lifestyle medicine principles. Their role is to provide accountability, guidance, and ongoing support, not medical care.
All coaching is delivered in accordance with the scope of practice standards established by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC).
Within this scope, coaches facilitate and empower members to define and achieve their health and wellness goals. They help members leverage personal insights, strengths, and resources to set meaningful goals, commit to action steps, and maintain accountability over time. Coaches act as collaborative accountability partners rather than directors, supporting self-directed behavior change aligned with each member’s personal vision for health and well-being. They may also share evidence-based educational resources from nationally recognized authorities to support informed decision-making.
Health coaches do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations, psychotherapy, or interpretation of laboratory results. Members are always encouraged to consult their licensed healthcare providers for medical care or clinical decisions.
What will I experience inside the Avidon App?
The Avidon App delivers guided courses, simple programs, and daily prompts designed to help you build healthier habits in real life. Content is practical, easy to follow, and focused on the behaviors that drive the greatest impact, such as sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, and recovery. Members engage at their own pace, with short lessons and actions that fit into everyday routines.
How are the courses and programs designed?
All Avidon courses and programs are science-informed and behavior-focused, emphasizing small, consistent changes rather than perfection. Content adapts to your goals, readiness, and engagement, helping you focus on the few habits that matter most, without information overload. The experience is supportive, not prescriptive.
How much time does the Avidon App require?
Most members spend just a few minutes a day engaging with the app. The goal is progress, not pressure. Avidon is designed to support you between gym visits and appointments, helping you stay consistent, build momentum, and see measurable improvement over time.
How are labs handled and protected?
Labs are processed through a national lab partner and securely stored on the lab’s HIPAA-compliant platform. Members receive their own login credentials to access their lab results directly through the lab portal, and results are also securely integrated into the Avidon platform for coaching and insights.
Will my doctor see my results?

How do I know if it’s working?
You’ll track your progress daily through the app, participate in periodic check-ins with your certified health coach, and complete formal reassessments at 6 months and at renewal. These reassessments include updates to your Health Age score, biometric measurements, and lab testing, allowing you to clearly see progress and refine your plan over time.
What if I’m busy or don’t use the app every day?
The program is designed for real life. Even small, consistent engagement, supported by coaching nudges, can produce meaningful results over time.
What makes this different from other functional health or longevity memberships or health apps?

By supporting key areas like energy, recovery, sleep, stress, nutrition, and metabolic health, the program helps you get better results from activities such as personal training, aerobics, yoga, Pilates, spinning, massage, and other wellness services. With personalized insights and coaching, you’ll show up stronger, recover faster, and perform better, making every workout and session more effective.

You’ll know what to focus on, feel supported every step of the way, and build lasting changes without feeling overwhelmed.
